Week 19 Doctor Appointment

We had our doctor's appointment today. BP was 90/66 and weight was 122. Doc said everything looks good. I'm a bit underweight but not a concern at this point.
We also had our ultrasound! Little baby was swimming around, curled up like a pretzel with legs and arms crossed. Kept flipping over, too. We saw little feet, with the second toe longer than the big toe, just like Mommy!
And a hand, shoulder and spine. See the fingers and thumb of the hand, and the ball and socket joint of the shoulder?
And we also discovered that "it" is a boy!! This picture is tough for anyone but an ultrasound tech, but in this picture you can see his little "package" and one of his thighs.
This last picture is frontal view of his head. You can see a diamond shape for his nose, the orbitals for his eyes and the outline of his head with the large dark spot being his brain.

I have to admit that it seems like parenting a boy might be easier than parenting a girl. Girls are just so, well, messed up! But either way, I'm happy that our little baby has the right number of legs, arms, fingers and toes! That's what I was most concerned about.
